Homemade Ice Cold Shot of Jager!

Few days ago I’ve seen something on TV to make your own Ice Cold glass, what a brilliant idea I thought! What better than an iced glass to drink your fav drink! It looked quite easy so I decided to try it myself for a shot of Jagermeister, so here is a simple guide to make a homemade Ice Cold shot.

Please don’t make fun of my table layer.

First you need 2 plastic cup, one being smaller than the other one.

Then fill in some water in the big cup and introduce the smaller cup in. Push it down until the rims of both cups are level. At this point you already spilled water everywhere, but it’s fine, no pressure. To keep the rims at the same level, tape them together like below.

Leave it in your freezer for at least 10hours. Go to work. Come back. You’re tired and you think it would be good to have a little drink. Good idea, an ice cold glass is waiting for you in the freezer. That’s the most critical part of the process, the removal from the mould. Put the cup under warm tap water and try to not break it. First release the smaller cup and then the big one. Don’t use too much warm water or it il will crack. As you can see below, it was a great success! Well I thought so.

However when I put the Jagermeister in, it went out instantaneously. Fail. A little hole on the bottom made the whole thing a dead duck.

Nevermind, I’m trying again, we’ll see. At least I get a glass of Jager and RedBull because I still had a long day and I deserved it. If you try yourself, let me know how it goes, we should do an ice cold glass Cup!
