BMW Zagato Roadster
I have never been a big fan of BMW’s roadster, thinking about the Z4 or the Z3, that wouldn’t be the kind of car I would like to own. However BMW just released his new 2012 roadster, the Zagato. And it looks wayyyyyyy better in my opinion than the former roadsters of the German car manufacturer. Apparently this car has been designed in only 6 weeks! German effectiveness I suppose…
Based on a Z4, the Zagato is the result of the collaboration between BMW and Italian coachbuilder (!) Zagato. It’s a smart mix of German class and Italian finesse. A very special highlight of the BMW Zagato Roadster is its paintwork. The exclusive exterior paint finish, a brilliant grey with impressive depth, appears to wrap the car’s body in a cloak of liquid metal. Depending on how the light hits the body, the color spectrum ranges from dark grey to a light silver, bringing the surfaces and forms of the BMW Zagato Roadster to life.
I think this is a brilliant collaboration, however the price and availability haven’t been released yet. What do YOU think?
