Just Another Drinkin’ Idea…
The other day while it was super warm in London, I was doing some grocery shopping at Tesco and I thought it would be great to buy me a little drink, just to make sure I’m staying hydrated along this heating wave… Walking around the beers shelve I realised that I knew bunch of these beers already, I needed something I’ve never drink before.
Then I saw it. Ginger Beer. Always seen Ginger Beers in supermarket but I’ve never drink a sip of it. Got it, I’m going to try. I’m a bit worried though, it’s super cheap, this is not a good sign…
Back home, I tried it and … I hated it. Yeah sorry if you’re a Ginger Beer’s addict, but this drink is fucking awful not very of my taste. I was a bit disappointed and still thirsty. And I didn’t want to waste it as well. After couple of minutes online I found this cocktail recipe and the solution of my problem was called Rum Bacardi Oakheart. Well I had a bottle at home, so that’s why I chose that one too.
Put some ice on the glass with a dose of Bacardi Oakheart.
Then add the awful tasty Ginger Beer and a bit of Apple Juice. Get a straw if you can, it will look more like a cocktail, and you can add some lime as well.
The difference was major. The Rum is taking over the taste of the Ginger Beer, and the mix is working quite well. Great Success, got my drink and I’m not going to die dehydrated…
